Moving Next Door

It’s a long story, but this month I’ll be moving to the next door apartment. This is weird and also convenient. So now I’ve got six months of rental time to find a permanent condo or something, hopefully.

Things noticed so far during the move

  • Too many goddamned paintings

  • The paint-catcher canvas what saved me from many rental fees and fines

Obama and Biden FTW

Note: In case you’re not familiar with internet lingo, ‘FTW’ means ‘For The Win’.

I Voted

I voted this morning.

  • It was good
  • I got a sticker

Kitteh vs Printer

OMG ROFLOL Roffle Roffle etc… All sound effects are real, obviously.

Boulder Falls

Before my youngest sister caught a flight back to Iowa, we ran across Boulder Falls:

Hope-Nope

I LOL’d:

  • John McCain - 'Nope' Poster
  • Sarah Palin - 'WTF?' Poster

My Estimate of the Water Level

Here’s my estimate of the water line at my new/old downtown Cedar Rapids apartment:
