Artist Statement

My art contains a combination of Catholic/Christian and Heavy Metal/blasphemous imagery. I draw and paint grotesque faces, skulls, and symmetrical compositions.

• I rock a BFA in Illustration and Design from the Kansas City Art Institute.
• My current work consists of intense colors, abstract situations, and interesting faces. I enjoy the lines and textures created by layers of acrylic paint and ink.
• I am influenced by Francis Bacon, Zdzisław Beksiński, Mihail Chemiakin, H.R. Giger, Richard Diebenkorn, and old Christian art.
