Test for photo posting on perhaps the good-damned go.
Yeah, there are some definite difficulties with getting the image markup correct on account of unexplained demon line breaks.
Finally entering this from a desktop browser: The ability to enter WP posts via mobile is awesome. But be prepared for line-break editing if including any images in your mobile post. Also, while I assigned this post to the “Photos” category on my mobile device, it’s in “Uncategorized” as of a few seconds ago. I’m switching the category via browser interface now.
Another photo upload test.
Some sunset clouds from tonight in good ol’ Broomfield, CO.
While walking on a trail in Broomfield this afternoon, I discovered pumpkin patches are huge in nearby Louisville.
These cat toys from my sister have been an absolute hit with my cats as they contain Teh Catnip, a should-be-controlled substance that makes cats go absolutely bonkers. Please note the candy corn, skull, and jack-o-lantern instances.
Here’s a sweet panorama of highway 36 heading into Boulder, CO. As you scroll to the right, you will notice how sloppy I am when it comes to iPhone photography and half-assed image stitching. But the mountains should make up for it.
Before my youngest sister caught a flight back to Iowa, we ran across Boulder Falls:
Here’s my estimate of the water line at my new/old downtown Cedar Rapids apartment:
I lived on the second floor of the Suchy Building, above the HD Youth Center just south of downtown Cedar Rapids for about a month before the flood.
Yesterday I went to pick up more things from my old/new apartment and noticed both the sign and blue awning had been removed.
Here are some photos from the HD Youth Center’s Flood Photo Page, before the sign and awning were removed:
My cats were rescued on Thursday (June 19, 2008). I’ve been displaced for 10 days now, and I’ll be moving back to the apartment complex I left before moving downtown (but not the same unit) on a month-to-month lease until I can (hopefully) go back to my downtown digs.
Here are photos of my 3 cats in my hotel room just after Angie T and I picked them up from the animal rescue center at Kirkwood Community College:

Thanks to Angie T of Violet Island fame for the photos!
I’m still trying to break 150 (update: I rolled a 179!), but thanks to my youngest sister I’ve got a wicked ball!
